Against The Grain Rico Sauvin- An India Pale Ale featuring Nelson Sauvin hops. Named after the Sauvignon Blanc grape, is a variety of hop developed and grown in New Zealand. It has a strong fruity flavor and aroma that is described as resembling white wine, or fresh crushed grapes or gooseberries. Some reviewers of this hop perceive the fruitiness as being very tropical with descriptions including passion fruit, tangerines, and grapefruit.  ABV: 7.6%.



CeK4x-dWAAEESsoWeihenstephan 1516- 1516 was created to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Bavarian Purity Law, which is the world’s oldest food law. The kellerbier is a cloudy amber color and features a mild flavor profile with a touch of caramel.  ABV: 5.6%. (Have it on tap this Saturday at our special Weihenstephan Event!)

B Nektar Stupid Man Suit- Crisp apple and cherry forward. The sides of the tongue garner the tartness of dry apple and unripened berries while a mild sweetness rounds and balances. Medium body with a dry, refreshing finish.  ABV: 5.5%.




B Nektar Tuco Style Freakout- Tart lime engulfs the tongue followed by a creamy sweetness of honey and agave. Medium bodied with a lime pith bitterness on the semi-dry finish. A zip of acidity adds to the wonderful balance of the sweet, tart, and bitter flavors.  ABV: 6%.



1znuffRevolution 1Z eNuff- Another huge IPA knocking you out with a four-hop blend of Chinook, Simcoe, Amarillo, and Crystal hops. This imperial IPA clocks in at 100 IBUs and 11% ABV, making it just a bit bigger than last fall’s Unsessionable, and certainly the kind of beer that you’ll need just one of. Toasted malt flavors lurking behind massive levels of hop bitterness and flavor with a punch of of hop aroma reminiscent of fresh citrus rind.



167240Christian Moerlein Strawberry Pig- “Each spring, we honor Cincinnati’s historical nickname by brewing a small batch of our favorite cream ale recipe, affectionately named “The Pig”. In 2014, we decided to age The Pig with a strawberry infusion. The resulting beer was so fantastic, we knew we had to share.”  ABV: 4.9%.




Clown Shoes Luchador en Fuego- Luchador En Fuego is an 11 percent ABV stout brewed with vanilla, cinnamon and both ancho and chipotle peppers before being aged in bourbon barrels. The “Mexican-style” stout uses Clown Shoes’ Chocolate Sombrero (9 percent ABV) as its base.




Omnipollo Nautilus- A fantastic Sour Ale brewed with blueberries, vanilla, and lactose sugar.  VERY limited!  ABV: 4.5%.

New Beer Arrivals 2/29-3/6

We always have a large variety of quality beers in stock, but if it’s new releases you’re looking for, this week there’s something for everyone!  From IPA’s, to Stouts to Saisons, we have new arrivals for everyone this week.  Take a look!


Lagunitas Citrusinensis- One of my personal favorites from Lagunitas!  “We took some fresh Sanguinello Blood oranges, juiced ’em, concentrated that juice (without heat) and threw it into a wheatier version of our New Dogtown Pale Ale. The end result? A refreshingly hopped pale-ish ale with a huge citrus burst!”  ABV: 8%.

Mango-Magnifico-750-MLFounders (Backstage Series) Mango Magnifico- Not a traditional fruit beer, the delicate tropical fruit in Mango Magnifico is punctuated by a hint of heat, increasing the overall depth of flavor and adding another level of complexity. Limited release, so stock up on this one while it’s still on shelves!  ABV: 10%.




Dogfish Head Romantic Chemistry IPA-  Romantic Chemistry is brewed with an intermingling of mangos, apricots and ginger, and then dry-hopped with three varieties of hops to deliver a tropical fruit aroma and a hop-forward finish.  It’s fruity, it’s hoppy, it’s tasty!  ABV: 7.2%.


21st Amendment Toaster Pastry-  Biscuit malts give this beer a slightly nutty, crust-like flavor, while pale and dark Crystal malts create the mouthfeel and flavors reminiscent of strawberry jam. Calypso and other experimental hops give this ruby ale a welcome bite, plus a few more in the hop back for a toasty-sweet aroma.  ABV: 7.6%.


DuClaw Quick Start My Heart- A milk stout brewed with “natural flavors,” lactose and galena hops as well as pale, CaraMunich and chocolate malts.  Inspired by an addiction to a popular children’s milk flavoring.  ABV: 6.8%.


Listermann 562 Lateral Coffee- A sweet oatmeal stout with coffee.  From local gem, Listermann/Triple Digit.  Limited release!  ABV: 5%.


Deschutes The Armory- This XPA gets its bitter twist from Nugget and Northern Brewer hops, then delivers a pronounced citrus kick from Cascade, Centennial and Citra hops. Consider this your next hop obsession.  ABV: 5.9%.


Maine Beer III- The concept for their third Hop Program beer Black Ale using Citra, Lemondrop, Cascade and Falconer’s Flight hops.While dark in appearance, Beer III presents with massive hop aroma and flavor.   It finishes dry with a touch of chocolate and coffee lingering on the palate. VERY LIMITED!  ABV: 5.5%.


Urban Family Brewing The Flowers Are Sleeping- A Saison brewed with wheat, and dry-hopped with a heap of fresh Washington honeysuckle, and elderflower This beer has a dry finish, with a mild honey-like sweetness, and great aromas of apple orchards, fresh flowers, and rustic malts.  ABV: 6.8%.

Urban Family Brewing Voices Underground- A beautiful interpretation of a classic Saison. It is simply brewed with five grains, hopped entirely with the beautiful inexorable Cascade hop, and fermented with our magickal Mutate Perpetuus house yeast and brett culture. With hints of fresh orchard apples, citrus flowers, black pepper, and a slightly tart dry finish.  ABV: 5.1%.


Evil Twin Retro IPA- “This is a tasty time-traveling tribute to an all time iconic beer style – the India Pale Ale. Though the style goes 200 years back this time around we re-created a 1985 style IPA – perhaps you remember the hip hop times. Enjoy a full on hoppy beer infused with everything you loved about the 80’s. The future is now. ”  ABV: 6%.
