Founders Backwoods Bastard- A highly anticipated annual release. “Expect lovely, warm smells of single malt scotch, oaky bourbon barrels, smoke, sweet caramel and roasted malts, a bit of earthy spice and a scintilla of dark fruit. It’s a kick-back sipper made to excite the palate.” ABV: 11.2%.
Warped Wing Esther’s Lil Secret- Every year Warped Wing releases a collaborative beer with Esther Price. This year they made it a Peanut Brittle Porter, and it’s amazing. Only available for a limited time, so stock up! ABV: 8%.
Lagunitas Brown Shugga’- Their winter seasonal that is “dangerously slammable”. ABV: 9.8%.
Flying Dog Naughty Egg Nog Ale- “Ale brewed with cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla with natural flavors.” ABV: 8.4%.
Flying Dog Nice Holiday Milk Stout- “This Holiday Milk Stout is a game changer. Leave this out with plate of cookies and Santa will hook your ass up.” ABV: 7.2%.
North Coast Barrel Aged Old Rasputin- “Every year we age a special batch of our much-loved Russian Imperial Stout in Bourbon barrels. The depth, intensity, and complexity of the flavor profile of this special release, like its predecessors, make it a worthy tribute to Old Rasputin.” ABV: 12.1%.
Jackie O’s Java The Stout- “A caramel centered stout accentuated by Athens’ Own Dawn Chorus French Roast. We start from a stout with minimal roasted barley and an abundant amount of caramel malts (Special B, cara 8); this creates sweet flavors and mouth feel to boot! After fermentation the beer is cold conditioned on four pounds of course ground coffee beans for one week to add color and lots of roasted flavor. Java the Stout not only contains approximately a half a cup of coffee caffeine per pint, but is also 6.5% abv. Great body with robust aroma and pungent coffee flavor.”
Jackie O’s Berliner Weisse- A sour wheat ale, in bottles for the first time in distribution. ABV: 5.5%.
Two Brothers Revelry- “This resiny imperial red ale is loaded with citrus and pine aromas that dominate the complex toasty malt character. Revel in the hops!” ABV: 9.5%.
Shorts Double Magician- “A Double London-Style Red Ale. Deep mahogany in color with an off white head, The Double Magician has aromas of toffee, light citrus, and just a hint of roast. The Double Magician is medium-bodied with flavors of raisin, toffee, and a slight hop bitterness. The finish is balanced and dry.” ABV: 8.1%.
Shorts Cup A Joe- “Cup A Joe Coffee Creme Stout uses Higher Grounds roasted fair trade espresso beans in every facet of the brewing process. Prominent aromatics of malt, espresso, and cocoa are abundant, and there are robust flavors of cream and coffee. This is the perfect morning night capper.” ABV: 8%.
West 6th Christmas Ale- “The West Sixth Christmas Ale is spiced ale with aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg with a sturdy malt backbone that will hold up to the chilliest of nights.” ABV: 9%.
New Holland Hoptronix- “Hoptronix 1-ups the game with its eye-popping bitterness. Mosaic hops give this IPA a dank aroma, yet it finished smooth and crisp.” ABV: 9%.
Stone 14th Anniversary Emperial IPA- “From the imported white malt to the “Burtonised” water to the rare yeast strain to the most pungent hops Kent has to offer, we used all British ingredients to brew our “Emperial” IPA.* While we may have brewed Stone 14th Anniversary Emperial IPA with our own distinctively modern, San Diego-style touch, what good is history if you can’t rewrite it to suit your tastes?” ABV: 8.9%.
Uinta Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout- “This is a barrel blended American Stout fusing notes of roasted coffee and cacao nibs with an earthy bitterness provided by Willamette and Chinook hops to balance the finish. ” ABV: 7%.
Deschutes Collage 2- “We’ve teamed up with Hair of the Dog Brewing Company to bring you another artistic collage of cask-aging alchemy. This encore collaboration delivers layers of vanilla, caramel and molasses with roasted accents and complex malt character. This second version magically blends The Abyss (100% aged in Pinot barrels) and The Stoic (100% aged in Pinot barrels) with Hair of the Dog’s Fred (aged in American oak and rye whiskey barrels) and Doggie Claws (100% aged in cognac barrels). ” ABV: 14.3%.
Cascade Blueberry- “This NW style sour ale blends wheat and blond ales that were oak aged in barrels for six months, then additionally aged four months on fresh blueberries. Huge herbal notes of dense blueberries in the nose give way to hints of oak and a dusty floral note. Rich earthy notes of dark fruit on the palate lead to a tart finish that dries out to a base note of blueberry skins.” ABV: 7.3%.
Cascade Gingersnap- “NW style sour double red ale aged in rum barrels for 21 months with cinnamon, spice and everything nice. Rum, plum, chocolate and spice swirl about your nose as you draw the glass near. Chocolate and spiced rum take turns revealing themselves and then settle on the palate like a log on the fire.The finish is of spiced rum and dark Belgian chocolate.” ABV: 10%.
Cascade Pumpkin Smash- “This NW style sour old ale is no trick, it’s all treat. We smashed and triple roasted 50 lbs of pumpkin down to 6 lbs, then aged the beer for 11 months on the roasted pumpkin in rum barrels. The aromas of spiced rum, mingled with the soft notes of roasted pumpkin, are notice up front. Spice, roasted pumpkin and rum is followed by a soft warming from within. Be warned, you might get pumpkin smashed!” ABV: 11.4%.
