Bell’s Roundhouse- “Substantial amounts of late-kettle hop additions and dry-hopping yields a heady blend of fruity aromas of pineapple, peach and citrus. Those aromas continue into a crisply bitter hop presence across the tongue, but the judicious use of toasted and caramel specialty malts prevents the hop intensity from overwhelming the palate. Locally sourced Michigan honey creates a smooth, dry finish that pulls everything together. The India Red Ale style is a variation on the IPA, but with more caramel and toasted malt character and a reddish hue.” ABV: 7.5%.
Founders PC Pils- “Pleasantly crisp, perfectly clean and profoundly crushable, PC Pils is our take on the classic Pilsner style. While Noble hops have been the preferred choice of Pilsner brewers around the world, we went with some of our favorite American varieties. Piney Chinook, pleasantly citrus Cascade and punchy Centennial make this an easy-drinker with floral hop characteristics.” ABV: 5.5%.
Rhinegeist Exum- “Formerly known as Nez, features a bevy of grapefruit, lime, and resiny hop flavors with a light malt backbone.” ABV: 6.4%.
Avery The Kaiser- “The Kaiser once said, “Give me a woman who loves beer and I will conquer the world.” If the Kaiser and his significant other had tipped this bottle, we’d all be “sprechenden Deutsch!” We took all that is good in a traditional Oktoberfest – gorgeous, deep copper sheen, massive malty backbone and spicy, floral, pungent Noble hops – then intensified each into this, an Imperial Oktoberfest.” ABV: 9.3%.
Avery The Beast Grand Cru- “The Beast is a seducer—accommodating, complicated, powerful, dark, unfiltered and created to last the ages. Beyond this, it’s futile to describe him. He will unveil himself differently to each of his followers. The mark is in his constitution.” ABV: 16.8%.
Oskar Blues Ten Fidy 2016- “This titanic, immensely viscous stout is loaded with inimitable flavors of chocolate-covered caramel and coffee and hide a hefty 65 IBUs underneath the smooth blanket of malt. Ten FIDY (10.5% ABV) is made with enormous amounts of two-row malt, chocolate malt, roasted barley, flaked oats and hops. Ten FIDY is the ultimate celebration of dark malts and boundary-stretching beer.” This beer ages wonderfully, so make sure you get some to add to your collection for future verticals!
Jackie O’s Mandala DIPA Simcoe- A Single hopped double IPA brewed with simcoe hops. Limited release! ABV: 9%.
5 Rabbit Vida Y Muerte- “A Märzenbier (Oktoberfest-style) brewed with dulce de leche and flavors inspired by hoja santa. Dulce de leche is a type of milk caramel widely used throughout Latin America. Hoja santa is a large leaf commonly used in Oaxacan cuisine due to the richness in its flavor and aroma. A new seasonal that celebrates the traditional Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).” ABV: 6.3%.
Deschutes Sagefight Imperial IPA- “The main event for hopheads has arrived! In the right corner we have lively botanicals hailing from the high desert; in the left, heavyweight citrus hops are looking for a knockout. Get ready to take a punch and keep on swinging with this bold Imperial IPA brewed with sage and juniper berries that’s best shared with those in your corner.” ABV: 8%.
Nowhere In Particular Batch Number 004- (AKA Passion Squirt) “Have you ever tasted something that rubbed you just the right way? Juicy and tart, with explosive flavor? This passionfruit saison is just that thing: yellow and mellow in color, with a quickly disappearing white head, and a nice tart and fruity aroma that plays across your senses gently and seductively. You’ll be past the point of excitement once this libatious liquid enters your mouth and pleasantly funky flavor spreads across your tongue. You can’t help but blush. Fruity, tart, clean and easy to drink, this beer is perfect to help loosen your inhibitions for the end of summer, and the well disguised 8.7% ABV only greases the wheels for this endeavor. Enjoy one, or four, and see where the night takes you.”
Triple Digit Barrel Aged Chickow- Chickow aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. Limited availability. ABV: 10%.
Weyerbacher Sunday Mole Stout- “As the name suggests, this 11.3% ABV American Imperial Stout is the foundation of everyone’s favorite, Sunday Morning Stout, with a twist (and without the barrel aging)… This brew captures everything you’d expect from a traditional molé – coffee, chocolate, heat and smokiness. Foremost is coffee, which is followed by layers of chocolate courtesy of the chocolate malt, cocoa powder and cacao nibs. Finally, a subtle lingering heat and smokiness from our blend of ancho, pasilla, mulato and chipotle peppers, as well as cinnamon, which is gone by the time you’re ready for your next sip.”
Founders Pale Joe- “Light in color but full in flavor, this golden ale features notes of gently roasted, fruit-forward coffee. Pale Joe features a special blend of high-end Ethiopian coffee expertly roasted by our hometown neighbors at Ferris Coffee and Nut. It’s the lovechild of your favorite iced coffee and, well, beer.” ABV: 5.4%.
Prairie 4th Anniversary Ale- “This brew is refreshing with a lemon citrus aroma. The ginger is just enough to give this lightly sour ale an added dimension of flavor that keeps you coming back for more. When you get your hands on a bottle of the ginger goodness, you’ll likely ask yourself how we got all that flavor into that bottle. Well, it wasn’t easy. There was plenty of slicing and blending. Then the puréed ginger was added to our sour base and allowed to age until it reached the right balance.” ABV: 7.5%.
3 Floyd’s Munsterfest- “This Bavarian-style Oktoberfest Bier is brewed with the finest German ingredients in accordance with the Reinheistgebot or German Purity Law. This malty and crisp lager is one of the few that remain true to the Fest Biers of old. “Es ist nicht normal.” ABV: 6%. No Holds.
3 Floyd’s SkeletonWitch- “a thirst-quenching tart ale with juicy hints of tropical fruit-pineapple, mellow funky cheese and a slight barnyard dry finish topped with cherry, raspberry, pear and plum aromas.” ABV: 8.5%. No holds, 1 bottle limit.
Jackie O’s Oil of Aphrodite 2016- “Oil of Aphrodite is an American double stout brewed with Integration Acres black walnuts and Belgian candied syrup. English, German, American, and Belgian malts are accompanied by Pacific Northwest hop to create a sweet and rich spring board for deep nuttiness. Lay this beer down for a while and share with friends and loved ones.” ABV: 10%.
